Bhavana Shetty returned to Bangalore after spending a major part of her life in Hyderabad. She and her husband Bhargav Shetty are now in their early 60s. They wanted to get back to Bengaluru, a city where they started life together and live their retired life. After a long hustle, they finally found their home at HM Grandeur by HM Constructions.
We got talking with Bhargav and he exclaimed,” I remember the kind of requirements that Bhavana had when we started looking out for a property in Bengaluru, options were more and that made things even more difficult. That’s when my son told me about HM Constructions and their properties in Bengaluru. We connected with the builders and planned a site visit”.
“It was a very well-planned visit and we were very impressed with their approach. First, come first we were offered a lower floor property. I was curious to understand why they offered a lower floor when they could always offer higher floors which were higher sale value”. The answer was simple. “They had in mind our safety, during emergencies lifts cannot be used and we old people can’t run down the stairs like the youth”. He smiled when we said this.
“The amenities in the house were designed keeping in mind people of all ages, the tiles of the wet areas were anti-skid and the entry to all rooms was wide enough. The rooms were spacious and ventilation was beautifully planned”. When Bhavana saw this house, she liked it and I could see it on her face, smiled Bhargav.
The house was perfect I knew, next was the amenities. What are the add-on features that they had to offer? With our old age, our primary focus is medical facilities. But we knew that staying just 2 kilometers away from MG Road – we have access to all top-end hospitals. Not that we will require it all the time but when we need it, it will be a critical moment.
The second-best thing we liked about this property is that it’s an 82% open space property which means it allows us to do our morning walks inside our apartment and enjoy a relaxed evening amongst the gardens. Less pollution and more fresh air.
Next comes security – we are staying alone and it’s important we feel safe. We did notice the strict protocols that were followed when we went for a site visit and that gave us an assurance that we can feel safe here.
The gym was world-class, the pool was neatly maintained and the community was set up beautifully.
To top all of it, was the community they built. Friendly, fun-loving, caring families with a nice mix of populations of different regions and different age groups.
Overall Bhavana liked the space and what else could stop us from investing in this property trust me, we found a true home here”, he ended.
We were also invited to visit HM Tropical Tree, HM Crescendo, and HM Indigo, but Bhavana said when we liked everything about this community why look beyond? And her wish is my command.
